This year we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, a festive milestone in our existence. Since 1985, we have been creating beautiful collections with immense passion, love, and care. We do this with a dedicated, enthusiastic team, where each person has their own expertise and fulfills a corresponding role. In the coming weeks, we will take you on a journey through our company, providing a behind-the-scenes look. But we will also introduce you to some of our colleagues! So, are you curious about where all the creative ideas come from? Or are you wondering who answers your emails? Then keep an eye on these stories!
We start with the basics within every fashion label: the styling and design department! Or as we like to call it with a nice term: Design, Sourcing & Production. Because it doesn't stop at designing a collection; we also look at which fabric best suits each design and then ensure that the production runs smoothly. 40 years of YOEK stands for 40 years of craftsmanship! At YOEK, there are a few things that are absolutely crucial: the fit, the fabrics, and especially a consistent size scale. These three elements are the key to our collections, and we continuously try to take them into account while of course also trying to follow the trends and create modern collections.
Therefore, without a designer, there are no innovative collections, and without our fit expert, there is no perfect fit! Carine, a true master in the field of fits, has been working at YOEK for several years. Dressing the female body and especially ensuring that something fits perfectly for every size is an art in itself. We were able to add designer Giulia to our team a year ago, and in between our tasks, we popped in to see her!

The special thing about YOEK is that we do everything in-house, which means we all work from one location. The designs are made in the same place from where we ship all our packages. So keep an eye on our stories for more stories from our head office!
